It is essential that you read these Terms and Conditions carefully and that you ensure you understand them fully. The following information constitutes the contract between you and Indo Intern for the services provided by Indo Intern and therefore sets out your legal relationship with Indo Intern.
By booking with us and paying the non-refundable fee accordingly to your duration preference, you acknowledge that you have read and understood and that you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Acceptance of your booking will be confirmed in writing and a receipt comes into existence on the date shown on this letter or email confirmation. We will then prepare an Internship Agreement between you and the Host Company.
Prices given are for the program of the duration indicated only. Indo Intern reserves the right to change prices from one program to the next. Prices do not include airfares, travel insurance, excess baggage charges or airport taxes.
It is the responsibility of participants to ensure that they are comfortable partaking in any activity that is requested by their Host Company. If participants are not happy with any of the conditions of their workplace, it is their responsibility to contact Indo Intern and we will make all efforts to resolve the issue. Under no circumstances will any participant be forced by any means to work in an environment that they consider unsafe.
At any point in time, travelers to Indonesia will potentially be subject to risk of injury, psychological trauma, disease, loss or damage to property, inconvenience or discomfort. By booking with Indo Intern, you are confirming that you have read and fully understand the information provided on this page.
By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you warrant that you have not relied on any representation made by Indo Intern which has not been stated expressly on the Indo Intern website on the date of this booking.
Indo Intern is not liability for any passenger who contravenes any of Indonesia 's laws or regulations.
Indo Intern will help to source a suitable internship program and will do its best to support you during your time there. The actual working agreement is between you and your Host Company and Indo Intern does not take responsibility for anything that happens while you are at your internship program.
Indo Intern does not accept any liability for any loss or damage, however caused (including through negligence), which you may directly or indirectly suffer in connection with this contract or in respect of a failure or omission on the part of Indo Intern to comply with its obligations under this contract.
To the extent permitted by law, any condition or warranty which would otherwise be implied into these conditions is hereby excluded. Where legislation implies any condition or warranty, and that legislation prohibits us from excluding or modifying the application of, or our liability under, any such condition or warranty, that condition or warranty will be deemed included but our liability will be limited for a breach of that condition or warranty to one or more of the following: (a) if the breach relates to goods, i) the replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods, ii) the repair of such goods, iii) the payment of the cost of replacing the goods or of acquiring equivalent goods or iv) the payment of the cost of having the goods repaired; and (b) if the breach relates to services, i) the supplying of the services again or ii) the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.
This disclaimer set out in these Terms and Conditions does not attempt or purport to exclude, restrict or modify liability arising under statute if, and to the extent, such liability cannot be lawfully excluded.
Indo Intern reserves the right to terminate the program and you will be advised of this no later than 30 days prior to the scheduled departure date. If possible, we will offer you placement on an alternate program. If you choose not to accept placement on this program, we will refund all payments you have made to Indo Intern less any unrecoverable costs incurred by Indo Intern, but we will not be liable under any circumstances whatsoever for any claims made by you for any additional costs incurred by you.
Indo Intern will not be liable for any delay in, change to or termination of programs due to Force Majeure. Force Majeure means a circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Indo Intern and includes, but is not limited to, war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, disease, industrial or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, fire and strikes. If Indo Intern does terminate a program due to Force Majeure, Indo Intern will offer you placement on an alternative program. If you do not accept placement on this program, we will refund all payments you have made to Indo Intern less any unrecoverable costs. Indo Intern will not be liable for any additional costs incurred by you.
Notification of termination must be made to Indo Intern in writing. The date written confirmation of termination is received by Indo Intern will determine the charges applicable. Loss of money paid is as follows:

Depending on your reason, these charges may be recoverable under your insurance policy.
No refunds will be made if you leave a program for any reason after the program has begun.
Indo intern has the obligation to fulfil all duties as stated in the invoice. The basis package consists of a suitable Placement at a host company, a sponsorship during the internship period, a local sim-card, informational folder, a on-day guided tour throughout Jakarta, assistance, an introduction day visit at the host company and airport pick-up service. Indo Intern is obliged to perform extra requests like arranging accommodation, arranging trips or extending visa against an extra fee. The request for a specific accommodation depends on availability, in the event of a fully booked apartment; Indo Intern will look for other options.
The payment of the amount shall be done after the intern and host company agree with the placement. The payment can only be done by bank transfer to BCA Bank Indonesia and shall be no later than 15 days prior the start of the Internship in once. In the event that the money has not been transferred according to the aforementioned terms, Indo Intern has the right to terminate the cooperation and the loss shall be paid as stipulated in clause 5.
Participants should realize that, at times, the actual operation of programs can differ from that indicated in the timetables on the website. These changes may occur in a variety of ways, and are likely to be a result of Force Majeure, weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond Indo Intern's control. In this event, partial refunds may be granted at the discretion of Indo Intern, although it is under no obligation to do so.
In the event of delay or other unforeseen circumstances the intern needs to inform the representative of Indo Intern in time so appropriate actions can be taken.
At all times, the decision of Indo Intern will be final on all matters likely to affect the safety and well-being of participants of the program. You must, at all times, strictly comply with the laws, customs, and foreign exchange and drug regulations in Indonesia. Should you fail to comply with these, or should you interfere with the well-being of the group, then Indo Intern reserves the right to order you to leave the program immediately with no right to refund. Respect and adhere to local culture, customs, and laws. Indonesia is a country of cultural wonders and cherishes and staunchly protects their cultures, where values, thinking, dressing, and daily activities are different from the Western culture. It is your responsibility to understand and follow the local culture, customs and laws during the stay in Indonesia. You agree to dress your entire stay appropriately, respecting the culture of Indonesia.
It is your responsibility to first try to resolve any complaints through the host company, before contacting Indo Intern. However, if the problem is considered serious or not solved locally, you shall contact Indo Intern. If you have any complaints or problems during the stay, you must make them known at the earliest opportunity to Indo Intern representative, who will assist you and take appropriate action to solve the problem.
If you are not satisfied with their response, you should notify us in writing and we will do our best to resolve the problem. If at the end of the program you feel your complaint has not been properly dealt with you must notify us in writing within 30 days of the end of your trip.
Travel insurance is compulsory for all participants for interns to enter Indonesia. It is your sole responsibility to arrange for a medical insurance which covers worldwide and liability coverage in amounts as you deem adequate or necessary. Indo Intern also recommends that you a travel insurance can cover termination, curtailment and loss of luggage and personal effects. You are required to carry proof of insurance with you and produce it if reasonably requested by the Embassy, Indo Intern employees or the Host company.
It is your responsibility to advise Indo Intern of any pre-existing medical conditions that might reasonably be expected to increase the risk of you requiring medical attention, or that might affect the normal conduct of a program and the enjoyment of other program participants. There might be a possibility that you may be required to provide an assessment of your medical condition from a qualified medical practitioner if requested by Indo Intern employees or suppliers. Indo Intern reserves the right, at its discretion, to terminate your booking and refund the money paid by you, less any unrecoverable costs.
Indo Intern also reserves the right to terminate your participation in a program at any time, including after the commencement of your program, with no right of refund if your medical condition could be reasonably expected to affect the normal conduct of the program and the enjoyment of other participants.
Certain information will be collected by us to supply to the services to you. Your personal information is collected only to enable us to provide you with the services you wish us to provide. The information may be disclosed to or collected on our behalf by our service providers to enable the services to be provided, but will not be used by them for any other purpose. The products or services may not be provided without this information. The information may also be used to inform you of additional products and services, which may be of interest to you. All marketing material sent to you will include an option for you to request removal from mailing or contact lists for any future marketing.
All information which we collect will be kept confidential to the best of our ability.
Indo Intern will not disclose personal information such as your name, address or telephone number to any person outside of the organization, unless you have authorized us to do so or unless we are required by law to disclose such information. Furthermore, under no circumstances will Indo Intern sell or lease or in any other way provide personally identifying information to any other party. You may request access to your personal information while it is stored by us and we will assess your request in accordance with the law. We will give you reasons where we deny access. Our written material, contracts info material what we provide to the intern and host company is confidential and shall not be distributed to third parties.
This contract and all matters arising from it are subject to the laws of Indonesia and the Indonesian courts only will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising under this contract.
This Terms and Conditions is between yourself and Indo Intern only. However, the actual working agreement is between you and your Host Company and Indo Intern.
